Sonic Celluloid is a collaboration between WNUR, Northwestern's student-run, non-commercial radio station (89.3 FM), and Block Cinema. Now in its ninth year, Sonic Celluloid is an experimental film and music event that features musicians performing live with their own original compositions or improvised scores to silent and experimental films of their choosing. It will be loud! Please check back in early May for the complete lineup of music and movies.
Approximate running time is 2 hours.
Special thanks to Lily Oberman, Sean Kane, Ethan Simonoff, and Daniel Sloan of WNUR for organizing.
